In your message type:

set address to_whatever_it_is_on_the_group
unsubscribe name_of_mailing_group

where

to_whatever_it_is_on_the_group = your e-mail address
EXACTLY as it shows up in the alias list for the mail
group (refer to ** at the end to obtain the alias list)

Archives:

To receive a listing of all the messages related to
some mailing group, send an e-mail message to:

almanac@ecn.purdue.edu

in your message type:

send name_of_mailing_group catalog

This will provide a numbered list of subject headings of all messages still stored.

To retrieve a specific message from the list, send an e-mail message to:

almanac@ecn.purdue.edu

containing the command:

send name_of_mailing_group message_number

where message_number is the number of the message of interest.
